Cyclists should always leave a door-sized space when passing parked cars. Drivers, never park in or block bike lanes.
Cyclists, if you see the cars ahead slowing down to make a turn, go around them on the outside, or slow down as well.
Drivers, don’t forget to use your indicators when overtaking. Be aware that a cyclist may hit a pothole or catch a gust of wind at any time.
Garmin's Varia radar will alert you of cars approaching from behind. The tail light unit brightens and flashes to notify approaching drivers of the cyclist ahead.
When Lane Assist identifies an unintended departure from the lane, the system automatically initiates corrective steering.
Side Assist provides the driver with support for lane changing. Two radar systems at the rear monitor the areas behind the car and in the blind spots at the sides.
Cyclists, you should ride parallel so the driver can see you, or slow down until you are visible in the car’s mirrors.
Adaptive Cruise Control helps to avoid accidents by always keeping your car at a safe distance from the traffic ahead.
Rear Traffic Alert warns the driver if a hazard is identified behind the vehicle and an emergency stop is initiated if the driver does not react.
